FLORA
QUESTION
“How can you create the delicate and organic environment of plants and flowers with just a light source?”
ANSWER
“Use natural materials. Follow organic patterns. Allude to nature. Don’t copy it. Let the light shine as if off the morning dew. Invite with texture, form, illumination, and reflection.”
The FLORA SERIES
Sculptural Lighting for Natural Environments
Inspired by the glass flowers at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, the Flora series of light sculptures are designed to be familiar but otherworldly. Crafted through a proprietary process of hand-burned paper, they are sealed in epoxy, creating depth, translucency, and nuanced glow.
